The DJ Kid Jenson introduced them as the new Cockney Rebel.Pretty impressive setlist that night(October 74) which included Big Big Deal,Death Trip,Hideaway,Singular Band to name a few.Loved to have been there...rumour has it some naughty fellow recorded it all on audio tape!!

Can only remember a couple of the set, the encore Tumbling Down of course and during the show Steve announcing that 'this is the new single Big Big Deal' The Organ break in the middle was fantastic, and the highliight of the gig for me, Much more melodic than on the studio recording.

Edit...What I would give to hear said tape just to hear that melody again, its still in my head now after all these years.
Don't know how to describe it in musical terms...ascending...uplifting...!
It was summer or maybe spring !

Yes, Friday Oct 18th '74. I was there and still have my ticket. Support was "Life"......... price in stalls :- £1.75
The second time they played the Rainbow was the "Concert For Northern Ireland", Sat Feb 12th '77. I was there for that one too, and still got ticket. £2.50. There was a slim A4 programme for the show.........still got that too.
